Almost 20 flights delayed at Kaliningrad airport due to bad weather

Kaliningrad airport Khrabrovo on Saturday, January 11, delayed 17 flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod due to difficult weather conditions, according to the online scoreboard on the website of the air harbor.

"Khrabrovo airport operates normally in difficult weather conditions. Possible flight delays due to weather conditions and cases of late arrival of airplanes. Decisions on departure and landing are made by aircraft commanders," the airport's press service clarified in its Telegram channel.

In case of flight delays, passengers are provided with services according to the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) No. 82. Passengers and meeting people were asked to clarify the time of departure and arrival in the call-center.

In turn, the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office reported delays due to strong winds of seven flights at Norilsk airport - to Moscow, Mineralnye Vody, Novosibirsk, Abakan, Ufa, Krasnoyarsk and Chelyabinsk. More than 1 thousand passengers are waiting for departure at Norilsk airport.

Earlier, on January 8, the Ural Airlines plane from Ekaterinburg to Sharm el-Sheikh was delayed for more than nine hours. The passengers were accommodated in a hotel with meals provided, and a mobile reception desk was organized at Koltsovo Airport.
