Four members of a Ukrainian sect undesirable in Russia have been given preventive measures

The court has chosen a preventive measure for four members of the Ukrainian religious organization "AllatRa" in Krasnoyarsk region, which has been declared undesirable in Russia. Images from the courtroom on January 11 are at the disposal of "Izvestiya".

At the hearing, three defendants were sent under arrest in the pre-trial detention center, another one - under house arrest.

The defendants are accused of organizing the activities of a foreign or international organization undesirable in Russia (part 3 of Article 284.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

One of the accused stated that at meetings with its members they discussed "climate, ecology, technology." According to the man, he knew that the organization was undesirable in the Russian Federation, but continued to participate in its work.

Earlier, on January 10, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported the detention of seven members of the organization in Krasnoyarsk Krai. Criminal proceedings were initiated against all of them. According to the investigation, the suspects posted information about the activities of the organization in messenger, attracted new participants and regularly organized meetings.

Before that, on December 12, 2024, the followers of the organization were searched in Moscow and the Moscow region. They found documents and other items relevant to the criminal case on the financing of an undesirable NGO, which was opened at the same time.

The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation recognized the "AllatRa" movement as undesirable on the territory of Russia in August 2023.
