The main fraudulent schemes in 2025 will continue to be obtaining fraudulent data to steal an account on "Gosuslugi", messages in messengers on behalf of an executive and calls allegedly from Russian agencies. Such a forecast was given on January 11 by Stanislav Kuznetsov, deputy chairman of the board of Sberbank.

"It is unlikely that fraudulent schemes will fundamentally change this year. The only thing is that we see a risk of more active use of AI-technologies for deception. Unfortunately, artificial intelligence makes fakes more and more plausible," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

At the same time, Kuznetsov pointed out that fraudsters are trying to bypass the bank's anti-fraud systems. To do this, they more often ask victims to withdraw cash and hand it over to couriers because of the possible blocking of online transfers.

Attackers have also started forcing people to open accounts in less secure banks, he noted. According to Kuznetsov, this problem should be solved systematically and by all market players.

Earlier in the day, Ashot Oganesyan, an expert in the field of data leaks and darknet monitoring, explained in a conversation with Izvestia that in case a user's account on "Gosuslugi" is hacked, he should go to the MFC and change his password and the number to which SMS codes are sent. Having regained access to the profile, it is necessary to analyze the actions of the attackers and cancel operations, the analyst reminded.
