Temporary flight restrictions have been introduced at the airports of Kazan, Nizhnekamsk and Ulyanovsk, Rosaviatsia official spokesman Artem Korenyako said on January 11.

"To ensure the safety of civil aircraft (AC) flights this morning, temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been introduced at the airports of Kazan, Nizhnekamsk (Begishevo), and Ulyanovsk (Barataevka)," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

The air harbors are currently not accepting or dispatching flights. Aircraft crews, dispatchers and airport services are taking all measures to ensure flight safety, the spokesman pointed out.

Earlier, on January 5, temporary restrictions were introduced at the airports of Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Izhevsk and Perm. Some time later they were canceled.
