Private Panarin confronted the AFU as part of the head patrol in the SVO zone

Private Alexei Panarin identified a sabotage group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and confronted the enemy as part of the lead patrol. On Friday, January 10, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the exploits of Russian army servicemen in the zone of the special military operation (SMO).
A group of Ukrainian military personnel was installing a machine gun point on the route of Russian units. Panarin, along with his fellow soldiers, engaged in a battle with superior enemy forces. During the battle, he decided to outflank the enemy, which allowed him to approach the machine gun point unnoticed. Panarin took aim with an RPG-7 and eliminated the Ukrainian calculation.
The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the competent actions of Sergeant Andrei Erofeev. He commanded a squad tasked with eliminating several AFU strongholds, as well as their weapons and equipment. The squad encountered superior enemy forces, Erofeev gave the order to withdraw to a safe position and preliminarily study the plan of the settlement they were in.
Having worked out the plan, the group moved to one of the abandoned buildings from where it was convenient to fire at the enemy. The Ukrainian military, as Erofeev had hoped, soon approached the building. The Russian attack aircraft opened fire. The enemy, having found themselves in an open area of terrain, suffered serious losses. As a result, the group under Erofeev's command, together with the incoming reinforcements, forced the AFU to retreat outside the settlement.
Earlier, on January 10, the Russian Defense Ministry told how junior sergeant Bimba Budazhapov carried out the task of delivering logistical equipment to Russian servicemen and escaped from the AFU artillery fire.
Before that, on January 9, it was reported that Guards Sergeant Vladimir Averin, as part of a unit of attack aircraft, performed the task of providing medical care to wounded Russian servicemen. When the battle was over, Averin organized the evacuation of the injured to a safe place for further treatment.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
