The Defense Ministry reported seven destroyed drones over Russian regions

Air defense (air defense) assets liquidated seven Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Russian regions within two hours - between 20:00 and 22:00 Moscow time - the Russian Defense Ministry reported on January 10.

"Four UAVs were shot down over the waters of the Black Sea, two were destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region and one over the territory of the Kursk region," the ministry's Telegram channel reported.

Shortly before that, the head of the DNR Denis Pushilin said that the shelling of the territories of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) killed two women and injured 12 more people, including a teenage girl.

Earlier in the day it was reported that during the Ukrainian shelling of Svetlodarsk a shell hit a residential house.

At the same time, the AFU struck the supermarket "Milk" in the Kievsky district of Donetsk. "Izvestia" published a video of the attack. At least two HIMARS missiles were fired at the store.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
