People's Artist of Russia Yevgeniya Dobrovolskaya, who died at the 61st year of life, was one of the best actresses. This opinion on January 10 in conversation with "Izvestia" expressed the actor of theater and cinema, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Igor Zolotovitsky.

"She played in my plays, we starred together. I am, of course, bitter. <...> She was a wonderful person, a wonderful actress, very good, one of the best actresses," he noted.

Zolotovitsky added that he knew Dobrovolskaya, who served at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater, for about 40 years. They participated in entreprises together back in the 1990s.

"When I came to the Art Theater, Zhenya said: "Well, let's think of something, I so want to do something in the genre of Lyudmila Markovna, because everyone thinks that I like to cry, I like to suffer, and I - a bright character actress." This is amazing, when she knew more about herself than the directors knew," he said.

Zhitinkin added that on the day of death of the actress worries only about the fact that the directors did not reveal her talent to the end and did not try in another role, as Dobrovolskaya never refused roles.
