More than 90 events prepared in Moscow for the Day of Russian Studenthood
More than 90 events will be held in Moscow for the Day of Russian Students. Among them - concerts, excursions and competitions, reported Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina.
"Guys will be waiting from January 22 to 26 at VDNKh and in parks, sports complexes and cultural centers. The program includes meetings with the heroes of Russia, contests, festivals of entrepreneurship and short films," Sergunina noted.
On January 22 in the format of a gala concert will be held the final of the contest "Miss and Mr. Student of Moscow". The next day will be devoted to the patriotic theme "City of Heroes": in the capital's universities and youth spaces will hold meetings with participants of the special military operation and veterans of combat operations.
On January 24, the first stage of the competition "League of Universities" will be held at the athletics arena of the Moscow State Construction University (MSCU). The program includes three tests: quiz, creative stage and sports competition.
On the same day young people are expected at the V Moscow International Festival of Student Entrepreneurship "Studfest". Also on January 24 there will be a screening of the finalists of the Youth Short Film Festival "Funduk" and an award ceremony.
On January 25, young people will be able to skate free of charge at various city venues, for this they need to provide a student ticket. Entrance will also be free for female visitors with the name Tatiana.
Thematic excursions are planned at VDNKh on Tatiana's Day. Participants of one of them - "Time of the Firsts. Students of Space" - will be told about the training of space pioneers. And within the framework of the program "Vivat Academia! Vivant professōres!" visitors will learn about the traditions of Russian students in different eras.
On the same day a masquerade ball will be held on the skating rinks in Friendship Park and Bauman Garden, and a flash mob of Snow Maidens will take place in Luzhniki.
On January 26, the Moscow Student Championship "Think. Answer", in which 50 teams will take part.
