Russian Armed Forces soldiers destroyed an AFU vehicle in Kharkiv region

The FPV drone of the Russian troops' grouping "North" has destroyed vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) units surrendering their positions in Kharkiv Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 10, providing objective control footage.

Servicemen of the reconnaissance unit detected the movement of AFU equipment with the help of a drone. Having analyzed the received intelligence, a decision was made to fire on the vehicle with militants.

"The detected target was promptly destroyed <...> during the movement. Means of objective control recorded a direct hit on the AFU supply vehicle," the agency added.

Earlier, on January 9, the FPV drone of the group of troops "North" destroyed an AFU ATV in Kharkiv region. Fighters of the reconnaissance unit of the grouping identified enemy equipment with the help of a drone in the area of one of the settlements. The ATV was transporting materiel to the position of the AFU fighters.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
