If fraudsters gained access to "Gosusluga", the user should go to the MFC and change the password and the number to which SMS codes are sent on application. Having regained access to the profile, it is necessary to analyze what exactly the attackers did and cancel these operations, Ashot Oganesyan, founder of the DLBI data leak intelligence and darknet monitoring service, told Izvestia on January 11.

According to him, it is necessary to cancel the transactions made by swindlers both through the portal itself, withdrawing, for example, issued electronic signatures, and with the help of a lawyer and, possibly, in court, if it is about online loans or real estate transactions.

The expert clarified: in order not to fall for the tricks of fraudsters and not to lose access to "Gosusluga", it should be remembered that no one and under no circumstances should not call SMS-codes that come to the phone, no matter how they justify their necessity. Moreover, the very request to name the code should be perceived as a signal to simply hang up, Oganesyan emphasized.

"With lost phone numbers, the situation is more complicated. In addition to relatively simple cases when access to the "Gosuslugi" service was tied to a previously used number, there are also complex situations when, for example, there is a forgotten bank account or card, a phone was once tied to it, and now the bank has introduced a service to confirm the account on "Gosuslugi" for account holders. Fraudsters who have gained access to the number can first reset the online banking password and then create a new account on "Gosuslugi", - he specified.

This can be countered only by controlling bank accounts and closing unnecessary ones in time, as well as by using the same number to receive SMS codes for as long as possible, the expert added.

On the eve of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported that the police have established two schemes by which fraudsters gain access to "Gosusluga" of Russians. One of them is connected with calls under the guise of telecom operators, the other - with the phone number to which the account was originally linked.
