Chita and Ulan Bator may be connected by air flight

The authorities are considering the launch of air service between Chita and Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. This was reported by the Ministry of Development of Civil Society, Municipalities and Youth Policy of Transbaikalia in response to an inquiry by ChitaMedia IA.

Negotiations on the organization of flights were held with the airline "IrAero". In the near future the carrier will carry out the necessary calculation of the cost of flights in the period from May to September 2025 and will give an opinion on its implementation.

Earlier in January it was reported that flights from Chita to Krasnokamensk were suspended again in Transbaikalia. The flights are planned to be launched within a month.
