Oman interested in environmental technologies from Russia

Oman may use Russian technologies in the field of environmental protection. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Amri, chairman of the Oman Environment Authority, told Izvestia on January 10.
"Russia has achieved serious technological development in the field of environmental protection, and we can take advantage of its developments," the Omani representative noted.
According to him, the countries have great opportunities for cooperation in this field.
Representatives of the two countries discussed potential ways of working together at the COP climate conference in Colombia, Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Amri emphasized.
The day before, Omani Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment Attraction Qais bin Mohammed Al-Yusuf, answering Izvestia's question, said that Oman can export food and industrial products to Russia, but mutual trade faces certain difficulties at the current stage.
