In Tatarstan, a criminal case has been opened after a child was beaten in a sports center

In Naberezhnye Chelny, a group of children beat up a child at a private soccer club under the supervision of a coach. The investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Tatarstan initiated a criminal case on this fact. This was reported by the press service of the agency on January 10.

On the video, discovered during the monitoring of the media, it is seen that during the beating of the child by other pupils of the section, the coach does not take any measures to stop violent actions.

"On this fact <...> a criminal case under article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (dereliction of duty to bring up a minor), part 1 of article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence) was initiated. Investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident are being carried out," - stated in the message on the website of the agency.

Rimma Mukhametzyanova, press secretary of the city mayor, told Izvestia that the incident took place back in October last year.
