The Ministry of Health told about the condition of the Russians injured in the crash of the plane in Aktau

Five Russians injured in the plane crash near Aktau continue to be treated in hospitals. This was reported by Assistant Minister of Health of Russia Alexei Kuznetsov on January 10.

"Five victims remain on treatment in hospitals of federal centers, their condition is assessed as moderately severe," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

The Assistant Minister of Health of the Russian Federation also noted the positive dynamics in the recovery of the victims.

In addition, Kuznetsov said that the girl, injured in the crash of the plane, was discharged from the hospital under the outpatient supervision of doctors.

A passenger plane of AZAL Airlines, heading from Baku to Grozny, crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau on December 25. The Ministry of Transport of Azerbaijan named the preliminary cause of the crash as external interference. After the incident, a criminal case was initiated.

According to the airline's list, 62 passengers and five crew members were on board. A total of 38 bodies were found at the crash site. Of the crew, three people survived. Seven Russians died in the airplane crash, nine Russian citizens survived. Later, a special airplane of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation delivered them to Moscow. On December 31, it was reported that three Russians injured in the crash were discharged from hospitals.

The day before, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow was interested in an objective and impartial investigation into the crash near Aktau.
