Classes in a sports center in Naberezhnye Chelny stopped after a child was beaten up

Classes in the soccer section of a kindergarten in Naberezhnye Chelny were stopped after one of the pupils was beaten up. Rimma Mukhametzyanova, press secretary of the city mayor, told Izvestia on January 10.

"After the incident, the lease agreement was terminated and classes were no longer held. The conflict has been settled between the parents and the head of the club," she said, explaining that the incident took place back in October 2024.

Earlier in the day, the media spread information that after a provocation of one of the pupils, the coach of the sport provoked a group of children to pounce on the kid with fists. The boy was beaten with hands and feet.

Earlier, on January 6, a criminal case was opened on the fact of cruel treatment of rhythmic gymnastics coach to the pupils of the sports school of Olympic reserve (SSOR) № 5 in the Vladimir region.

The incident was investigated after a resident of Vladimir published an appeal in social networks, where she told about the cruelty of the coach of the gymnastics section. The man regularly insulted children and used violence against them.
