Media reported millionaire Karpowski missing after $1 billion business collapses

In the U.K., Greg Karpowski, 45, founder of Stenn Technologies, disappeared after telling employees about the collapse of the business, which was valued at nearly $1 billion two years ago, Bloomberg Television reported Jan. 9.
"Karpowski said little during a Dec. 4 phone call with his 250 employees when they learned that his trade finance business, valued at nearly $1 billion just two years ago, had collapsed," the publication writes.
He reportedly left the UK before Stenn's UK subsidiaries declared bankruptcy.
Earlier, on November 20, it became known that the Estonian airline Nordic Aviation Group went bankrupt. It was reported that in October 2024, NAG lost its contract with its main partner SAS to serve domestic routes in Sweden. The Swedish company stated that such cooperation was unprofitable.
