Sobyanin told about the construction of 40 metro stations in Moscow by 2030

About 40 new metro stations will be built in Moscow by 2030. Eight of them opened for passengers in 2024: the Troitskaya line appeared on the map of the capital's subway, and another station appeared on the Sokolnicheskaya branch, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his personal blog.

In 2025 will open a section of the Troitskaya line from the station "ZIL" to "Novatarskaya" with four stations: "ZIL" and "Krymskaya" with interchanges to the MCC, "Akademicheskaya" with interchange to the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya line and "Vavilovskaya". By 2030, Line 16 will add six more stations: "Sosenki", "Letovo", "Desna", "Kedrovaya", "Vatutinki" and "Troitsk".

In addition, the construction of the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya metro line will continue. The first stations are planned to be opened in 2026. Also specialists are engaged in designing of the future Biryulevskaya branch. There should be ten stations on it.

The construction of the station "Dostoevskaya" - the first on the Ring line for 70 years - is in full swing. It will be completed in 2030.

In addition, work will begin on the future station "Golyanovo" - a new end point on the eastern section of the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line. Its construction should be completed in 2028.
