In the Sverdlovsk region, a woman stabbed her two children and committed suicide. This was reported on January 10 by the press service of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the region.

On the night of January 10, a woman stabbed her seven-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter in the town of Krasnouralsk. The police received a report about the incident from a local resident. He found the injured boy when he was able to get out of the apartment, to get to the neighboring entrance. The girl at that moment was in her entryway in an unconscious state. The injured children were taken to the hospital.

It is specified that the police officers who arrived at the scene found the mother of the injured children under the windows of the house.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact of attempted murder of two children.

Earlier, on January 2, in St. Petersburg at night a woman strangled her child and fell out of the window. The incident occurred at a time when the child's father was at work. A criminal case was initiated.
