The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have hit the Moloko supermarket in the Kievskyy district of Donetsk. This was reported by the Izvestiya correspondent on January 10.

"One of the missiles hit right in front of the Moloko supermarket, it is the largest supermarket in the area," the journalist noted.

According to his data, Ukrainian militants used HIMARS multiple rocket launchers (MLRS).

Preliminarily, two people were injured in the attack.

"The AFU has hit supermarkets purposefully before, hitting them when they are already operating so that there are as many casualties as possible," Izvestia correspondent Yevgeny Bykovsky said, recalling the attack on the Galaxy shopping center in 2022 and 2024.

Earlier in the day, the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported that the AFU shelled populated areas in the Gorlovka direction of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) 32 times during the day.

It was specified that as a result of the attacks a person was wounded, seven residential buildings, a car and two objects of civilian infrastructure were damaged.

Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis against the background of the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
