The area of the fire in Gatchina on the territory of the industrial zone has increased to 1900 square meters. This was reported by the Russian Emergencies Ministry in its Telegram channel on January 10.

The agency noted that more than 50 rescuers and 12 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.

The prosecutor's office of Gatchina reported about the inspection of the fire. The work of emergency services at the scene is coordinated by the city Prosecutor Sergei Bazhutov, clarified in the agency.

"During the inspection will be assessed all the circumstances of the incident, as well as compliance with industrial safety requirements", - said in Telegram-channel of the Prosecutor's office of the Leningrad region.

Thefire in an industrial zone in the Leningrad region occurred earlier in the day. According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry, the fire started in a two-story brick building. No casualties have been reported so far.
