Several more UAVs were suppressed in Voronezh suburbs by REB means
Several more unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were suppressed in the suburbs of Voronezh by means of electronic warfare (EW). This was reported by the Governor of the Voronezh region Alexander Gusev on January 9.
"According to preliminary data, there are no casualties. <...> The elimination of the consequences will begin immediately after receiving permission from the operational services," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
The governor informed that as a result of the attacks, the windows of one enterprise were broken out in the buildings of one enterprise, in another locality the windows of a private house were damaged and a fence was slashed, while in a suburban area the windows of four private houses, as well as a car, were damaged after a UAV was destroyed and debris fell.
In addition, in another suburb, a private house and a car sustained minor damage in the first attack.
Earlier, on January 9, Gusev reported about the destroyed UAVs over the suburbs of Voronezh. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties, but damage to two private houses was recorded.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
