Air defense forces intercepted an AFU drone on the territory of the Bryansk region

Air defense forces have intercepted a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the territory of Bryansk Region. This was reported by Governor Alexander Bogomaz on January 9.

"An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of aircraft type was detected and destroyed by the air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense," the head of the region wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to preliminary information, there are no casualties and destruction, operational services are working on the site.

Earlier, on January 8, the governor of the Bryansk region reported about the destroyed UAV over the region. There are no casualties and destruction, operational services are working on the site.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to Ukrainian shelling.
