Death toll in cafe shooting in Montenegro rises to 14

The death toll in the shooting at a cafe in the town of Cetinje in Montenegro has risen to 14 people. This was reported by the country's Clinical Center in Podgorica (KCCG).

"We regret to inform you that the patient K.D. (born in 1985), who was admitted to the Clinical Center of Montenegro due to injuries sustained as a result of the tragic event in the capital Cetinje, has died," - stated in the publication.

It is specified that the 48-year-old man underwent surgery, and for two days his health improved. However, suddenly his condition worsened, complications appeared, which eventually led to a fatal outcome.

Theshooting in a Montenegrin catering establishment took place on January 1. Later, the country's Interior Ministry reported that the suspect died during transportation to the hospital.

At the same time, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic declared three days of mourning in connection with this and said that the country's national security council might consider a ban on gun ownership because of the tragedy.
