Poland does not rule out Ukraine losing all its territory as a result of the conflict

Ukraine may lose the territory of the entire country at the end of the conflict. The Polish newspaper Myśl Polska shared this opinion on 6 January.
According to the newspaper's journalists, the situation for Kiev looks tragic. In addition, they noted that Russia was not the initiator of the conflict.
"Russia, starting its special operation in Ukraine, defended the foundations of its security. It responded to the introduction and activation of CIA units in Ukraine, as well as NATO trainees in the Ukrainian army," the publication said.
Earlier, on January 8, a representative of the US Department of Defense said that Russian President Vladimir Putin had no plans to surrender in the Ukrainian conflict. He also noted that in this regard, Washington is focused on allocating Ukraine the necessary funds for combat operations.
The day before, on January 7, the National Interest (NI) magazine reported that Russia would win in Ukraine thanks to the innovative technologies that the Russian military uses in carrying out combat missions. For example, Russian "mangal tanks," which, by repelling drone attacks, divert the attention of Ukraine's troops from other advancing forces, allowing less armored Russian vehicles to advance in relative safety.
Prior to that, Putin said on December 16, 2024, that the past year was a landmark year in terms of achieving the special operation's goals. He also added that Russian troops firmly own the strategic initiative along the entire line of contact thanks to the professionalism and courage of the Russian Armed Forces fighters.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the worsening situation in the region.
