The movie "Finist. The First Bogatyr" collected at the box office more than 2 billion rubles. This follows from the data provided by the portal EAIS on Thursday, January 9.

The amount of collections includes pre-sales of about 195 million rubles. At the same time, the first weekend brought the largest collections of the motion picture.

The premiere of the fairy-tale blockbuster took place on January 1. Viewers were especially impressed by Finist's helpers - Baba Yaga, played by actress Yulia Peresild, as well as the camel Jamal. Later, on January 7, the film became the leader of the Russian cinematography, having collected at the box office more than 1.5 billion rubles.

On December 28 last year, the film's actors revealed that they had taken courses in Russian fist fighting and weaponry for the action scenes.

"Finist. The First Bogatyr" - a joint project of the studio Yellow, Black and White, online cinema START and TV channel "Russia", created with the support of the Cinema Fund. The film was released in wide distribution by distributor NMG Kinoprokat, part of the National Media Group (NMG) holding. "Finist.
