Defense Ministry publishes footage of assault aircraft seizing AFU positions in DNR

On January 9, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the combat work of servicemen of the assault units of the "Zapad" group of forces to capture positions and destroy the Ukrainian Armed Forces' (AFU) manpower near the Terny settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR).

It is specified that the object was discovered in a wooded area with the help of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

"Information about the uncovered firing positions and the nature of the enemy troops' actions instantly went directly to the commanders of the assault groups," the ministry said in a statement.

As a result, with the help of attack drones, the AFU's manpower was eliminated.

"Our fighters have their own home behind them, literally."

On the same day, the FPV drone calculation of the group of troops "North" destroyed an AFU quad bike in Kharkiv region. Military equipment was transporting materiel to the position of militants.
