"Moskvich" disclosed the results of car sales for 2024
At the end of 2024, more than 23 thousand Moskvich cars were sold in Russia, including more than 2.4 thousand Moskvich 6 liftbacks and more than 1.3 thousand Moskvich 3e electric crossovers. This was reported on January 9 by the analytical agency "Avtostat" with reference to the press service of the enterprise.
In December, Moskvich automobile plant sold more than 2.4 thousand cars, including more than 360 Moskvich 6 liftbacks and more than 160 Moskvich 3e electric crossovers.
Back in August 2024, Maxim Zlatokrylets, commercial director of the capital's automobile plant, stated that Moskvich was sticking to its plan to sell 27,000 cars in 2024.
In February of the same year, Sergey Kogogin, General Director of PJSC KamAZ, said that Moskvich was not producing cars in the volumes that were originally planned. In 2024, the plant planned to produce 50 thousand cars, but the break-even level is reached when producing 40 thousand cars a year, he said.
On December 20, 2024, it was reported that the Moskvich automobile plant postponed the start of sales of a new seven-seat crossover with the index 8. The model is scheduled to enter the market in February 2025.
