Fighters of the "North" group destroyed an AFU ATV in Kharkiv region

The FPV drone of the North group of forces has destroyed a quadricycle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kharkiv Region. Images of objective control of the target were shown by the Defense Ministry on January 9.

Fighters of the reconnaissance unit of the grouping took out enemy equipment with the help of an unmanned aerial vehicle near one of the settlements. The ATV was transporting materiel to the position of the AFU fighters.

"The detected target was promptly destroyed by the calculation of FPV-drone of the group of troops "North". Means of objective control recorded the destruction of the quad bike of the AFU during the movement and fire", - concluded in the Department.

"Our fighters have their own home behind them, literally."

Earlier in the day it was reported that the calculation of mortar of the artillery unit of the Rosgvardiya inflicted fire damage to the personnel of the AFU in Kharkiv region. Russian fighters received the coordinates and carried out the combat mission. Afterwards, they camouflaged the gun and went into hiding.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
