About 60% of surveyed Russians have decided to actively pay attention to their career in 2025

The majority of surveyed Russians (57%) said that in 2025 they intend to actively pay attention to their career. This is stated in the results of a survey conducted by hh.ru analysts, which were presented to Izvestia on January 10. A year ago, 65% of respondents intended to spend more time on work.

In addition, 52% noted that their key priorities include family, the share of such answers has increased significantly: a year ago it was 42%.

Self-development is a priority for 38%, health for 37%, and education for 21%. In the new year 20% of Russians intend to spend more time on hobbies and sports, 10% - on friends.

The experts found out that among the residents of different regions, respondents from Primorsky Krai (78%), Irkutsk Oblast (77%), as well as Altai Krai and Kaluga Oblast (71% each) are most focused on career. Residents of the Omsk Region (69%), the Volgograd Region (65%) and the Kemerovo Region (61%) are more likely to focus on family, while those living in the Novosibirsk Region and the Republic of Tatarstan (49% each) and the Tomsk Region (47%) are more likely to focus on self-development.

At the same time, career development is of greater concern to men than to women (59% vs. 55%). Taking care of the family is equally important for both (53% each). At the same time, women significantly more often than men plan to spend time on self-development (42% vs. 35%) and health (41% vs. 33%).

Earlier, on December 24, it was reported that in Russia 29% of respondents named the main successful event for 2024 increase in salary. This is stated in the results of a survey of analysts of the platform hh.ru. In second place among the successes was a new job (28%). Every fourth respondent (25%) managed to go on vacation and have a good rest.
