Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with members of the government on Thursday, December 9, that the results of national projects will be evaluated not "on paper" but by the improvement of the quality of life of the country's residents.

"It is very important that the documents <...> do not diverge from the realities of life. As I have said many times before, we will evaluate the results not by papers, but by how the actions we take and the activities we carry out affect the lives of specific people. I ask you to proceed from this. Plans are plans, projects are projects, and life itself should not be like that," the Russian leader said.

The head of state noted that the result should be assessed by how the citizens of the country perceive the work done within the framework of these projects.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak said during the meeting that federal funding for the regions for 2025 in the amount of about Br1 trillion has been allocated in full, all the necessary financial agreements have been signed (there are 3718 of them in total).

He also said that the total amount of financing of new national projects for the next six years is more than Br57 trillion, of which more than Br40 trillion - from the federal budget. He also noted that passports of all 19 national projects have been approved, including eight projects of technological leadership.

Earlier, on December 31, 2024, Putin instructed to make national projects a priority in the formation of the Russian budget until 2030. He also recommended the "People's Front" to regularly monitor how these directions are realized and use feedback from people on these issues.

Prior to that, on December 5, the Russian leader said that the most notable results of the national projects, according to Russians, were achieved in preschool education, road conditions and convenience of receiving public services. He noted that the lagging areas had also been identified. For example, the level of medical care in the country and the availability of housing. The Russian leader emphasized that these issues require special vigilance.
