The Investigative Committee has launched an investigation into the discovery of a man's body in a car that drowned in a fire-fighting pond in the Leningrad Region. According to preliminary data, the deceased was drunk at the time of the incident.

The incident occurred in a cottage village in the Kirov district. The car Volkswagen Passat drove on the surface of the pond, the thickness of the ice was 10-15 cm. The foreign car fell through 20 meters from the shore. The body of a man was found by divers in the car's interior.
