Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with members of the government on Thursday, January 9, that he plans to hold a telephone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping soon.

"My colleague, the leader of the People's Republic of China and I will soon have a telephone conversation," the Russian leader said.
