Swedish top manager Bo Andersson got a job at the Japanese firm Sanoh Industrial, which is engaged in the production of automotive components. Andersson announced this in his LinkedIn account, noted Telegram channel "Autopotok" on January 9.

Andersson will work for the Japanese company as a consultant. Sanoh makes brake and plastic tubes, plastic parts, exhaust and air conditioning components and batteries, among other things.

Andersson's resignation as CEO of Uzbek national automaker UzAuto Motors became known in late December. He said that he left the company due to the fulfillment of all tasks and the completion of the contract.

From 2009 to 2013, the Swede headed GAZ Group in Russia, he became president of AvtoVAZ in 2014 and left the position in 2016.

On December 29 last year, AvtoVAZ announced that from January 14 it planned to index prices for a number of models and modifications of Lada cars. In 2024, AvtoVAZ indexed car prices twice, with the average adjustment amounting to 4.3% for the current year, which is more than half the official inflation rate.
