Primorye residents warned of 33-degree frosts
In Primorsky Krai on the weekend, January 11 and 12, 33-degree frosts are expected. The weather will be determined by the anticyclone. It will leave the region without precipitation.
The press service of Primgidromet told PrimaMedia IA that on Saturday night in mountainous areas the temperature will drop to -33 degrees Celsius, and on the coast - to -15 degrees Celsius. In the daytime, the thermometer will rise to -5 degrees Celsius, and in the southern regions and on the coast - to 0 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday night it will get colder by about 4 degrees. Daytime values will remain almost the same as on Saturday.
In Vladivostok at the weekend will be without precipitation, night and day temperatures will range from -10 to -14 degrees, and in the afternoon will warm up to -5 degrees.
Earlier, the doctor-neurologist of the medical company "SberZdorovye" Polina Lepilova said that a sharp change in air temperature can lead to various consequences for the body. Thus, with a sharp drop in ambient temperature, for example, when leaving the subway in the cold, the body begins to lose heat faster than it has time to produce it. This in turn can lead to hypothermia, especially if a person is wearing wet clothes or shoes.
