In Khabarovsk municipal services are eliminating the consequences of the cyclone that hit the city the day before, January 8. Last night more than 440 tons of sand and salt mixture and 8 tons of reagent were distributed on the roads.

As IA AmurMedia writes with reference to the press service of the mayor's office, the authorities took preventive measures: the work of road services was adjusted in advance, schedules of equipment output were formed, additional stocks of de-icing materials were prepared.

The roads were treated immediately after the snowfall began. First of all attention was paid to the routes of public transportation.

All day and night 51 units of equipment worked on the streets. Road services paid special attention to remote areas and main highways, such as Matveevskoye highway, 60th Anniversary of October Avenue, Voronezhskaya, Bolshaya and Karl Marx streets. Closer to night the streets in the Krasnaya Rechka neighborhood were treated.

Workers were clearing stairways, crosswalks and bus stops.

Earlier, on January 9, it was reported that the year 2025 may become one of the most difficult for weather addicts. Especially bad condition in people are predicted in spring and summer, because it is in the year of the Snake the Sun will reach the peak in the current cycle of its activity.
