Trump's son rebuked L.A. authorities for giving Kiev extinguishing equipment


The son of the President-elect of the United States Donald Trump Jr. amid the fires in Los Angeles, rebuked the county authorities for giving Ukraine unnecessary equipment for extinguishing. He said this on January 9 in the social network X (former Twitter).
In his opinion, the equipment that the county sent to Kiev would have played a role in extinguishing the fires.
After that, Donald Trump Sr. called on California Governor Gavin Newsom to resign.
"They (areas of the United States. - Ed.) have turned to ash and Gavin should resign. It's his fault," the head of state-elect wrote in the social network Truth Social.
According to the politician, the country's "best neighborhoods" continue to burn.
In response to this statement, Newsom criticized Trump for politicizing the incident.
Also American entrepreneur and billionaire Ilon Musk said that he considers the authorities of California the worst leaders in the United States because of the situation with the fires. So Musk responded to a publication in the social network, where the user wrote that California has the worst government among all states.
Numerous forest fires in Los Angeles were reported the day before, the fire started in the Eaton Canyon neighborhood. Extinguishing continues, strong winds fuel the fire, rescue crews lack water. In connection with the fires, US President Joe Biden declared a major disaster regime in the state of California.
Emergency services urged residents to be ready to evacuate. The evacuation zone also included the residence of US Vice President Kamala Harris, who said she sympathized with all her heart with those affected by the fire. Don Reiman, one of the residents of Los Angeles, told Izvestia that his house was the only one that survived the fire, while the rest of the buildings turned into ruins.
