A man accused of killing his children in the Tver region died in hospital

A man accused of murdering his four children in Tver Region has died in the hospital, where he was previously taken after a suicide attempt. This information was confirmed by the source of "Izvestia" on January 9.

As reported in the Investigative Committee, the accused was hospitalized in late December.

The bodies of four children in a private house in the Tver region were found on December 28. According to the mother of the murdered, she had six children, the two older ones were on the second floor of the house at the time of the incident. According to her, nothing foreshadowed that the spouse could commit such a crime.

The man was arrested under paragraphs "a", "c" of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of two or more persons") on the same day. He was taken into custody, the term of detention was not specified. The investigation of the criminal case is continuing.
