Rosgvardia artillerymen hit an AFU position in Kharkiv region

A mortar of an artillery unit has inflicted fire damage on personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kharkiv Region. This was reported by the press service of the Rosgvardiya on January 9.

The fighters received the coordinates and fulfilled the combat mission. After they camouflaged the gun and went into hiding.

"Worked on the night target, now we leave the position faster, because there is a great possibility that on us now someone from the enemy from above with a bird (drone. - Ed.) rises from above, can see on thermal imaging for 1-1.5 km, and it is fraught for the gunner and the calculation. Everything is done quickly, because everything is glowing everywhere, the flash is very brightly visible. We work quickly, clearly, we fulfill all our duties to the hilt," said one of the servicemen.

The artillerymen use unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) units to provide real-time fire correction. Working with reconnaissance teams and drone crews allows them to destroy targets with minimal ammunition consumption at different distances.

Earlier, on January 6, it was reported that special forces of the Rosgvardia destroyed military equipment of the AFU in Kursk region. As a result of actions of special forces were eliminated a tank of militants, as well as an armored personnel carrier. The footage clearly shows the defeated objects of the enemy.
