Heavenly Grace founders organized Christmas gatherings in Valdai

Nine-year-old Olya from Rostov-on-Don fulfilled her dream as part of the annual Wish Tree campaign. The schoolgirl had long wanted to see the Olympic champion and president of the Heavenly Grace international association of clubs, Alina Kabaeva.

Gymnasts from Heavenly Grace and athletes from the Dynamo-Moscow gymnastics club,as well as judoists from the Academy of Martial Arts trained at Valdai. Christmas training camp for them was organized by the founders of the Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics "Heavenly Grace". And right during the training camp the children were invited to a magic Christmas tree in St. Petersburg. Among the girls who were lucky enough to get to the Christmas tree is Olya Scherbakova from Rostov-on-Don.

"I started going to gymnastics, and my mom started showing me all the performances of all the gymnasts. I liked Alina Kabaeva's performance very much. I dreamed of meeting her, getting to know her. I knew that someday my wish would come true, and I started practicing hard", - said the girl.

At the "Wish Tree" Olga asked to meet her idol - Alina Kabaeva. And then, a few days before the New Year, Yuri Slyusar, the acting governor of the Rostov region, withdrew her letter from the "Tree of Wishes".

Every meeting of the Olympic champion with the pupils of the Academy necessarily consists of communication. It is important for children to hear words of support, to feel that Alina Kabaeva herself believes in them.

The Olympic champion shared her many years of experience with the young athlete. Over the past few days, the girl has been honing her skills to meet the gymnast. In addition, with the girl was practiced by the coaches of "Heavenly Grace" during the training camp in Valdai.
