In the United States in Memphis opened an exhibition in honor of the 90th birthday of singer and actor Elvis Presley. This is reported on January 8 on the website of the estate "Graceland", which previously belonged to him.

At the exhibition visitors will be able to learn about 90 facts from the singer's life. Organizers have also selected 90 exhibits from the more than 1.5 million artifacts that are stored in the estate's archives.

"These artifacts each have a unique story to tell. They range from iconic items easily recognized by fans to rare personal items. There are pieces on display that capture moments in Elvis' life that have been out of sight," according to a posting on the website.

Presley's fans will be able to see a never-before-seen photo from 1938, showing the singer around three years old and pictured with his parents. Also on display are fan letters from the artist, his stage costumes, nunchucks engraved "Master Elvis Presley," his pay stubs and other items. The exhibit will run through December 2025.

Earlier, on August 16, 2024, the U.S. Department of Justice announced the arrest of a Missouri woman in connection with orchestrating a fraudulent scheme to deprive Elvis Presley's family of millions of dollars and ownership of the Graceland estate.

On May 21, it was reported that a personal copy of American singer Elvis Presley's Bible would be auctioned off at the Hilton Elvis Presley Artifacts auction. Also put up for auction were the artist's suit, which he wore while serving in West Germany, sunglasses from the filming of the movie "Elvis on Tour" (Elvis on Tour), rings and watches that he made himself, as well as his guitar, coat and chair.
