An activist smeared the Austrian ruling party's headquarters building with feces

On January 8, activist Anja Windl smeared excrement on the building in central Vienna that houses the headquarters of the Austrian People's Party (ANP).

"ANP (Austrian shit party): "My word of yesterday means nothing today," Windl signed the post with the published photo on her Instagram social media page (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist in Russia, banned).

The act of protest came after ANP representatives said they were ready to start coalition talks with the right-wing Austrian Freedom Party (APS).

Earlier, on September 5, 2024, climate activists attempted to disrupt a visit by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to the IAA car show. Climate activists oppose the car industry in any form. In their opinion, even electric cars pollute nature, as their production is harmful to the environment.
