In Engels after the UAV attack, the state of emergency regime is being introduced

In Engels, Saratov Region, an emergency situation regime (ES) has been introduced due to an increase in the area of a fire at an industrial enterprise, which caught fire after an attack on the city by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was announced by the governor of the region Roman Busargin on January 8.

"Due to the increase in the area of fire at the industrial enterprise <...> an emergency regime will be introduced in Engels," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

The governor added that two employees of the fire department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations died while eliminating the fire. According to Busargin, specialists from the Rospotrebnadzor department have been taking air samples in the area of the fire throughout the day, no exceedances of norms on pollutants have been recorded.
