Couple injured in AFU strike on auto in Belgorod region

A passenger car was attacked by a Ukrainian drone in the Leonovka farm in the Valuisky district of Belgorod Region. As a result of the incident, a married couple was injured. This was reported by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on January 8.

"Both victims have closed head injuries and shrapnel wounds to the faces. The ambulance brigade takes them to Valuyskaya CRB," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

In addition, Gladkov said that as a result of the attack from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the front part of the car was damaged and the windows were broken out.

At the moment, operational services are working at the scene, the governor concluded.

Earlier, on January 6, a man was injured after an AFU drone attack on a car in Belgorod region. The victim was hospitalized.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
