The United States Screen Actors Guild was founded in 1933 to represent the interests of movie industry workers. This organization began to award its prize in 1995, recalls "Gazeta.Ru".

Earlier in the day, emergency services in Los Angeles urged residents to be ready to evacuate because of raging wildfires in the state. TV channel NBC News reported that the fire began in the area of Eaton Canyon. Strong winds are fueling the fire.
