Production designer Vladimir Kruglov died at the Vakhtangov Theater

Honored Culture Worker of Russia, production designer Vladimir Kruglov died at the Vakhtangov Theater at the age of 66. This was reported to "Izvestia" on January 8 by the press attaché of the cultural institution Elena Kuzmina.

"We regret to inform. Today in the Yevgeny Vakhtangov Theater died prematurely honored worker of culture Vladimir Vladimirovich Kruglov - the head of the props and decoration shop, who worked at the Vakhtangov Theater for more than 45 years. <...> Vakhtangov people express their deepest condolences to the family and friends of Vladimir Vladimirovich Kruglov. Low bow and eternal memory", - she noted.

The time and place of the farewell ceremony will be announced additionally.

Kruglov began working in the theater in 1977 after graduating from the Theatrical Art Technical School (TKHTU). In 1983 he became the head of the props and decoration shop and headed one of the most important parts of the preparation of the play for release.

Kruglov designed both performances at the Vakhtangov Theatre and TV programs, concerts, exhibitions and city events. He was elected a member of the Hansei Art Academy (Germany).
