Defense Ministry publishes footage of destruction of AFU pickup truck in Kharkiv region

The North Group of the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) has liquidated a Ukrainian army pickup truck in the zone of the special military operation (SMO) in Kharkiv Region. Footage of objective control of the destruction is published by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 8.

Servicemen of the group's reconnaissance unit found a pickup truck of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near a forest belt. At that time, the vehicle was transporting Ukrainian soldiers for rotation in the SSO zone.

As a result of analyzing the data received, the Russian army soldiers decided to fire. The target was successfully destroyed by the FPV drone.

On the eve of the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the destruction of two heavy drones of the AFU "Baba Yaga" in Kharkiv region. Servicemen of the "North" group of troops eliminated them with the help of FPV-drones.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
