The plane from Ekaterinburg to Egypt was delayed for more than nine hours
The Ural Airlines flight from Ekaterinburg to Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt was delayed for more than nine hours. This was reported on January 8 in the Telegram-channel of the Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office.
"The departure time has been postponed to 14:00 (12:00 Moscow time)," the statement said.
It is known that the plane was supposed to depart at 03:25 local time (1:25 Moscow time).
The reason for the flight delay is not reported. Passengers were accommodated in a hotel, they were provided with hot meals and drinks.
At Koltsovo airport was organized the work of mobile reception.
Earlier, on December 29, it became known that the flight from Moscow airport Vnukovo to Vladikavkaz was delayed due to bad weather. It was reported that for more than 12 hours about 200 passengers could not fly out of the capital.
Before that, on December 23, the departure of 13 flights was delayed at St. Petersburg airport Pulkovo. Flights were delayed because of reports of pseudomining. Eyewitnesses said that passengers were not let out of the airplanes and did not board them.
