The Hyacinth-S missile destroyed an AFU stronghold on the Krasnoarmeysk direction

An artillery crew of the 2C5 Hyacinth-S self-propelled howitzer of the Center group of troops has destroyed a Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) stronghold on the Krasnoarmeyskoye direction of the special military operation (SMO). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 8.
It is reported that having received the coordinates of the targets, which were identified with the help of reconnaissance drones, the Hyacinth-S calculation successfully hit the enemy fortifications with a minimum number of shots. After accomplishing the combat task, the servicemen camouflaged the gun and promptly left for cover.
Artillery crews of the Center group perform daily firing missions to support assault units and destroy enemy targets, the ministry added.
On January 8, the Defense Ministry said that a combat crew of 152-millimeter towed guns 2A36 "Hyacinth-B" of the Guards Airborne Assault Don Cossack Regiment from Feodosia destroyed a camouflaged AFU gun in the border area of Kursk Region during counter-battery warfare. After the coordinates were transmitted, the Hyacinth-B unit immediately aimed the gun.
