The sister of the head of OpenAI is suing him for alleged harassment

Sam Altman, head of OpenAI and creator of ChatGPT, said that his younger sister has sued him and other family members, accusing them of harassment. This was revealed by CNBC on Tuesday, January 7.
Ann Altman has made accusations against the family for sexual abuse that took place between 1997 and 2006. According to her, she was molested from the age of three. This is not the first such accusations against Sam Altman by his sister, but previously she preferred to make statements through social networks rather than go to court. Ann also noted that the result of harassment was a long-term depression. The statement of claim includes a demand for a jury trial, and as compensation for damages is requested the sum of $75 thousand.
The head of OpenAI denies all the allegations. He drafted a statement on the case along with his mother Connie and brothers Jack and Max.
"Annie has made deeply hurtful and completely false statements about our family, and especially about Sam. We chose not to respond publicly out of respect for her privacy and our own. However, she has now sued Sam and we feel we have no choice but to deal with this," the document said.
The statement also notes that Ann Altman suffers from "mental health issues," "refuses traditional treatment and lashes out at family members who are genuinely trying to help."
Earlier, on December 25, it was reported that director Justin Baldoni was stripped of his recently awarded award "for courage and compassion in advocating for women and girls" after actress Blake Lovely accused him of harassment.
