A Tornado-S MLRS hit a temporary deployment point of an AFU brigade


The Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the Vostok group of troops has destroyed a temporary deployment point of a mechanized brigade as well as an accumulation of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) personnel in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 8.
The spies with the help of drones found a camouflaged point of temporary deployment of living forces, as well as an area of accumulation of military equipment of the AFU units.
After transmitting the information to the command center of the artillery division, one of the Tornado-S MLRS calculations hit all the targets identified by the scouts.
"We hit targets, as a rule, in the rear. This is an accumulation of equipment of some kind, temporary deployment points, ammunition and fuel depots. Also during offensives we support our troops, advancing assault groups," said the battery commander with the call sign Ajax.
Earlier, on January 6, artillerymen of the Russian army told about the liberation of Kurakhovo. The Russian military with the call sign Krasny said that in the liberation of Kurakhovo there is a great merit of tankers and infantrymen. They showed courage and heroism, did a great job.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
